Pockey USB 1.1 Drivers

Please download the USB drivers for your operating system and platform. These drivers are intended for use with the older Pockey USB 1.1 External HDD.

Microsoft Windows Installation Instructions

Windows 2000/ Windows XP

After connecting the Pockey™ to your computer via the USB cable, turn on the power. Windows should install the drive automatically.

Windows 98/ Windows ME

After downloading the installation file from above, browse to the location on your drive that you saved the file. Double click the file you downloaded then follow the installation prompts to install the drivers.

Mac OS Installation Instructions

You are able to use the Pockey™ with Mac O/S 8.6 or higher that has 'usb card support 1.4.1.smi'. If your operating system is Mac 8.5 and you do not have 'usb card support 1.4.1.smi', download Mac O/S 8.6 and ''usb card support 1.4.1.smi' from www.apple.com

Pockey™ USB 2.0 is run in Mac O/S X version or higher.

Installation Procedure

1) Download the Pockey™ Install driver from above.
2) Unzip "Pockey.HQX(or MAcOSX_10_1.tgz)" using "Stuffit Expander (or Unzip software)"
3) A new file named "Cypress USB storage.pkg" will be created.
4) Double click this file to install the Pockey™ driver.
5) You will see the message "Installation was successful". Please click "OK".
6) Connect your Pockey™ to your computer and turn the power switch to "ON".
7) Your computer will recognise the Pockey™.

NOTE
If you want to use the Pockey™ USB2.0 in MAC OS 8.6 or MAC OS 9.x, please refer to the following installation procedure:

1) Unzip "Pockey™ TO MAC 9.X.HQX" file.
2) You may find a new file named "CYPRESS MSC DRIVER INSTALLER.SIT" and a new directory named "CYPRESS MSC DRIVER INSTALLER"
3) Enter into the directory and double click a file named "INSTALL CYPRESS MSC DRIVER"
